I'm not usually the biggest fan of contemporary glass boxes, but there is something I just love about this house designed by the
Bercy Chen Studio in Austin, Texas. Contemporary homes have a tendency to feel very cold and sterile, but with the choice of materials for this house and the lush greenery around, the house feels very cozy. The house also kind of reminds me of the
Eames House in Los Angeles. It has a very retro vibe from the sliding glass doors and the style of window framing.
I love the wooden shade system and the white tent-like covering!
